Mr Mohammed Shafi joined Hamad Medical Corporation in 2004. Graduated from India as Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Specialised in Level 4 Cancer Rehabilitation by Wright Foundation from United Kingdom and Certified Lymphedema Therapist from Colorado, United States of America by Klose Training Centre. He underwent Advanced and Review Course In Head and Neck Lymphedema Management from Hinterzarten,Germany. He is also ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Certified Cancer Exercise trainer and a core member of Qatar National Breast Tumor Board, Ministry of Public health, as Lymphedema Specialist. He is a member of Breast Multi Discipolinary Team, HMC and a key person in Establishing First Lymphedema Clinic with in Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He has Colloborated with Ministry of Public health in Qatar and Indian Embassy in Qatar to create awareness among the people with low income about the fast growing disease like Cancer, non-communicable diseases and occupational Hazards at work. He was invited as a speaker in many conferences regional and International.
