Private Nursing Services and Infection Control at Hamad Medical Corporation
The annual World Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) takes place from October 13 to October 19. It aims to increase awareness and disseminate knowledge about ways to stop illnesses from spreading, emphasizing the vital role that infection prevention plays in global health. In order to safeguard public health and lower the number of diseases linked to healthcare, the 2024 theme, "Moving the Needle on Infection Prevention," calls on everyone to give infection control procedures top priority. Hamad Medical Corporation's Private Nursing Services Department actively supported World Infection Prevention Week 2024 as part of its dedication to public health. Staff members, including nursing department leaders from corporate and Nursing Outsourcing Agencies, took part in a special event that the department arranged at Bayt Al Dhiyafah to raise awareness of the significance of infection control.
Infection prevention presents difficulties for community healthcare provider Private Nursing Services. Community contexts, as opposed to healthcare facilities like hospitals, are more likely to spread infections because of things like intimate contact within households and a lack of resources. Nonetheless, the department has continuously endeavored to establish efficient infection control procedures. By adhering to international health criteria, we prevent the spread of infection through proactive monitoring, stringent cleanliness practices, and education. Significant progress has been made by the Private Nursing Services Department in halting the transmission of illnesses in public places. This emphasizes how important community health providers are to maintaining public health and safety.
