Private Nursing Services aspires to drive and guide a Person-centered care learning system, using evidenced- based practices to be able to deliver an optimum improvement in the Healthcare system and community of Qatar. We aim to give the best care for all our patient’s through continuing education and development of their care partners.
This initiative, to train Care partners in Basic Life Support and First Aid was raised from the PFAC members. In addition, one of PNS staff who is assigned to a patient in the community raised the same initiative in the Unit Based Council (UBC). Training sessions, in collaboration with Hamad International Training Center (HITC) was held in Bayt Al Dhiyafah on August 2022 wherein, a total of (24) care partner’s and patient’s family were trained. This training aims to upskill and help care partners to enhance their knowledge in resuscitation and first aid training. The second batch of care partners was trained on 23rd February 2023, wherein an overall of 21 participants attended. Feedback provided from the attendees was, that the sessions was interesting, they learned about the fundamentals of medical care, and the practical live sessions were well organized.
This would have been unimaginable without the continuous support and assistance of Hamad International Training Center (HITC) and Private Nursing Services (PNS), who always wish the best for their patients /families and staff.
PNS anticipated that more care partners will be trained in the upcoming months.
