Dr. Amaniya Yamani
Amani Yamani is a Transplant Infectious Diseases Consultant at the Organ Transplant Center of Excellence at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Yamani’s academic journey commenced with the attainment of a Bachelor degree in Medicine and Surgery from King Faisal University Dammam.
She completed her Internal Medicine Residency Training at St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI. Following that, she embarked on an Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training Program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Driven by a passion for caring for immunocompromised populations, she later joined the Johns Hopkins Transplant and Oncology Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program.In October 2019, Dr. Yamani returned to Saudi Arabia to work at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Jeddah, where she continued to contribute to the field of infectious diseases.
Dr. Yamani’s dedication extends beyond clinical practice, as she actively engages in medical education.
She has mentored numerous residents and fellows, fostering their growth through formal lectures and bedside teaching.
Notably, she assumed the role of Program Director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at KFSH&RC in Jeddah before she relocated to Riyadh, where she currently focuses on the advanced practice of Transplant Infectious Diseases.
