Dr. Mohammad Janahi

Dr. Mohammad Janahi finished his residency training in 1993 to 1996 at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospital in New York, USA.

He then completed fellowship training in pediatric Infectious Disease at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey, USA from 1996 to 1999. In 1997, Dr. Janahi obtained his American Board of pediatrics.

He was the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Hamad Medical Corporation from 2005 to 2018. Head of the Pediatric Infectious Disease since 1999. Currently, he is the Vice Chair of Pediatrics at Sidra Medicine and Medical Director of outpatient clinics. Dr. Janahi is an appointed faculty member of Weil Cornell Medicine- Qatar as associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics.

He has contributed to few research projects both at HMC and Sidra Medicine.
