Following the success of the 1st Gulf Diabetic Foot Conference, held in Oman in April 2015, and the second, held in Kuwait in March 2016, the Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group (GDFWG), in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), is proud to present the third conference.  This ground-breaking event will be held on 3 and 4 March, 2017 at the Westin Doha Hotel & Spa in Qatar.

The conference will feature global experts in the field of diabetic foot care and will highlight the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity problems associated with diabetes. Interactive workshops will provide participants with useful information for their daily clinical practice and submitted abstracts will present innovative research in the field. In addition, the scientific program will include in depth material that was carefully selected by the conference organizing committee.

Attendees will hear about the latest research developments in diabetic foot disease in the areas of prevention, infection, osteomyelitis, diabetic charcot foot and offloading. The conference will also cover the latest scientific developments, findings, research and clinical insights important to daily practice for diabetic foot care.

Participants will have an opportunity to network with experts from around the world with the aim of having a platform to discuss important topics and advancements in the field of diabetic foot care.

We anticipate welcoming 500 delegates, including key opinion leaders, doctors, wound care nurses, community nurses, podiatrist foot surgeons, physiotherapists and allied health staff from throughout the region. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with colleagues from many different countries and to stimulate a creative exchange of ideas.
