Dr. Alam is an experienced radiologist doctor especially in musculoskeletal radiology. His vast experiences include being a guest faculty at the Annual Scientific meeting at the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) in 2014 in Riga, Latvia. He has been awarded the Best Teaching Faculty Award in the Department of Clinical Imaging from 2014 to 2015. He was also nominated for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in the Stars of Excellence Award in 2015.
He is a member of these important committees: Hamad General Hospital Research Committee, HMC Clinical Imaging Department Accreditation & Quality Improvement Committee, European Society Musculoskeletal Radiology, Asian Musculoskeletal Radiology Society, MRI Safety Committee Department of Clinical Imaging at the Hamad Medical Corporation, and other equally-important MSK radiology committees. He is also an initiator in establishing the MSK ultrasound in the Department of Clinical Imaging at the Hamad General Hospital.
