Dr. Wanis H Ibrahim, FRCP (Edin), FRCP (Glasg), FCCP
Dr. Wanis is Senior Consultant Physician at Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation, in Qatar. He is also Associate Professor in Clinical Medicine at Weill-Cornell Medical College in Qatar.
He was amongst the top graduates of the Faculty of Medicine at Al Arab Medical University in 1995.
Dr. Wanis has a number of awards and achievements including:
- Received over 12 awards as best teacher
- Host examiner for the MRCP (UK) PACES clinical exams
- Examiner for the Arab board clinical exam
- Published over 32 researches in international journals and completed a book on short cases for clinical exams (in process of publication)
- Associate editor of the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease
- Editor in the Journal of Pulmonary and Respiratory Medicine
- Editor: Journal of Allergy and Asthma
