Dr. Ananth Nazarene
Charge Nurse - Mental Health Services-HMC
Dr. Ananth Nazarene is an Acting Nurse Researcher at the Mental Health Service with a PhD and a master's degree in psychiatric nursing, supported by 21 years of nursing experience, 14 of which are dedicated to psychiatric nursing. Since joining HMC in 2017, he has contributed significantly to six publications, with an additional 10 in various stages of progress. His commitment to improving the physical health of individuals with mental illness and reducing aggression and violence in mental health settings is evident. His current research interests include aggression prediction, sensory modulation, and the second-hand victim phenomenon within the Mental Health Service.
