Dr. Majeda El-Banna (PhD, RN, CNE, ANEF) serves as Dean of the College of Nursing, QU-Health Sector, Qatar University, since August 2024. With over 30 years of academic and leadership experience, she has held prominent roles in national and international institutions, including as Vice Dean and tenured Associate Professor at The George Washington University.
Dr. El-Banna's research focuses on innovative, evidence-based pedagogies that enhance nursing education and foster student-centered learning. A two-term Governor-At-Large for the National League for Nursing, she is widely recognized for her contributions to nursing education, earning numerous awards and fellowship in the NLN Academy of Nursing Education.
