Dr. Inês Santiago, MD, PhD

Dr. Inês Santiago is a Radiologist at the Department of Radiology of the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon. Her clinical expertise is in abdominal and gastrointestinal imaging, and her current research focuses on rectal cancer imaging. Her department and herself work in collaboration with the Preclinical MRI platform lead by Noam Shemesh and the Computational Clinical Imaging Group lead by Nikolaos Papanikolaou at the same institution, for the development of new MRI acquisition techniques and artificial intelligence tools in cancer imaging respectively.

Dr. Santiago is an active teacher in abdominal and gastrointestinal radiology and has delivered over 80 lectures at multiple scientific meetings organized mainly by ESGAR, ESOR and ESR.

She has authored/co-authored 42 publications and has been cited over 406 times. She is also a reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals, including Radiology, European Radiology and European Journal of Radiology.
