I have been a consultant respiratory physician at Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust since 2003. My role is the assessment of people with respiratory disease referred for lung transplantation and the lifelong care of individuals undergoing lung transplantation. I have developed the service during that time and seen the long term survival of lung transplant recipients significantly extended due to the interactive, proactive approach taken with lung transplant recipients
