Call for abstracts
We invite you to submit your abstract for the First Qatar Thoracic Conference 2024, and we welcome abstract submissions on a wide range of topics related to respiratory medicine. These topics include but are not limited to:

Research on Respiratory Disease and Sleep Medicine: We encourage abstracts that present research findings, including studies related to respiratory diseases, sleep disorders, and initiatives focused on improving the quality of care in these areas.

Reports Based on Basic, Translational, and Clinical Science Research: Abstracts should encompass research across the spectrum of respiratory medicine, from fundamental research to translational and clinical studies. Share your scientific discoveries and advancements in the field.

Investigations on Epidemiologic and Psychosocial Aspects of Respiratory Medicine: Abstracts exploring the epidemiology of respiratory conditions and their impact on public health and studies investigating psychosocial aspects such as patient well-being are highly encouraged.

Case Reports: We welcome unique and interesting case reports. These can include descriptions of a remarkable case or a series of similar topics that provide valuable insights into diagnosis, treatment, or rare presentations of respiratory conditions.
Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Word Limit: Abstracts should be concise and not exceed 300 words. We recommend this word limit to ensure that submissions are focused and concise. The committee will return Abstracts that exceed 300 words to the authors for revision.

Abstract Submission Deadline: Submitting your abstracts is 10 pm AST (Arabian Standard Time) on 31 January 2024. It's crucial to adhere to this deadline to ensure that your work is considered for presentation at the conference.
Publication:
All accepted abstracts will be published in the Qatar Medical Journal precisely as they were submitted.
Notification:
• The presenting authors of submitted abstracts will receive notifications of acceptance or rejection by
January 30, 2024.
• It is the responsibility of the presenting author to inform all co-authors about the status of approval or denial.
