Alanoud Ali Alfehaidi
Alanoud is a Clinical Dietitian Supervisor at Enaya Specialized Care Center, Rumailah hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition at Qatar University in 2009 and joined HMC in October 2010. She is an active member of several committees, which focus on patient care, safety, and management.
Alanoud has extensive experience and skills in teaching. She has regularly been involved in developing and teaching Nutritional Essential Modules to healthcare professionals, which aims to enhance their knowledge and understanding on current dietary trends and practices, enabling them to provide up-to-date quality care to their patients.
She has developed patient care protocols on Medical Nutrition Therapy and Clinical Practice Guideline such as the Management of Hypoglycemia in long-term care facilities, maintaining feeding through the NGT and the role of nutrition in the wound healing process, prevention, and management of refeeding syndrome.
