Asmahan Abdul Wahab Abdo

Asmahan is the Director of Nursing at Private Nursing Services, Continuing Care Group, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare, including inpatient ICU (Intensive Care Unit), operating theater, and community services. Recently, she has successfully completed the Quality Improvement Leadership Program 2022. Asmahan is the co-investigator of the first research in the community, with the title, Prevalence of fall and its associated risk factor among Qatari patients admitted under Private Nursing Services.
She is the Quality Lead for Private Nursing Services, who represents the facility in several corporate and department-wide committees across HMC. In addition, Asmahan has been an active participant and an organizing committee member of the PCCF since 2021. She was also an inspirational keynote speaker for the online seminar on Future-proof Healthcare Leader in 2021. She received her master's degree in Health Service Management at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
