Dr. Rasha Ashour
Dr. Rasha is a Senior Attending Physician in Sidra Medicine and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Pediatrics at Well Cornell College-Qatar and Qatar University. Dr. Rasha is the Lead for Sidra Sepsis Program, Pediatric Lead for Qatar National Pediatric Sepsis Program, and a founding member of the Eastern Mediterranean Global Sepsis Alliance Steering Committee.
Since 2015, Dr. Rasha leads multiple other quality improvement projects and programs, spread of the culture of "Think Sepsis" in Qatar and has pioneered the development and implementation of the Pediatric Sepsis Program in Hamad Medical Corporation and subsequently in Sidra Medicine. He has co-authored the Qatar National Acute Sepsis Management Guideline published in 2019. She has received multiple awards for her passion, dedication, and major contribution in the fight against sepsis locally and internationally including the 2019 Global Sepsis Alliance Award in Germany.
