Dr. Shallik had his residency training in Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University in Egypt, and joined Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. He has special interest in airway management and head and neck anesthesia, both adult and pediatric patients and complex airway cases. His passion is in education and teaching next generations of anesthesiologists about difficult airway management.

In 2015, he ran the first airway course and workshop at Qatar Robotic Surgery Center. In 2018, he opened the Difficult Airway Clinic at Ambulatory Care Center (ACC), Doha. This helped formulate a clinical pathway for complex head and neck cases. 



Dr. Wael Saleem
Dr. Wael Saleem is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at the University of Weill Cornell, Qatar, and is
working as a Sr. Consultant of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). He
received His MD, PhD, and eventually earned his Pain Management fellowship from Gunma University, Japan. He is a member of the  FELLOW OF INTERVENTIONAL PAIN PRACTICE (FIPP) and also the European Pain Federation Diploma (EDPM)
Dr. Wael is considered to be a key member in the establishment of the pain management service, the Pain Medicine Fellowship program and the Intervention Pain Procedures course at HMC.  Currently, he leads the establishment of the Neuromodulation services to enhance this advanced service in Qatar. 



Dr. Ahmad Lafir

Dr. Lafir had his residency training in Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, where he also joined and completed fellowship in Neuro-anesthesia. He has special interest in difficult airway and novel airway techniques, neuro-anesthesia, trauma-anesthesia, peri-operative patient experience, virtual learning and medical education.



Dr. Abdulrahman Dardeer

Dr. Dardeer graduated as a member of class 2012 from Alexandria School of Medicine, Egypt and completed his residency at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar in 2021. He has contributed as author and co-author in a number of case reports and review articles related to airway and perioperative management.
