Ms. Joanna is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 2006, in Mary Chiles College, Philippines. She became a registered nurse in 2006 in the Philippines and has active Saudi Council and Qatar Council license. She has 10 years’ practical experience in nursing, initially in critical care then specialized practice in wound management, in both hospital and community settings. She has attended professional development courses in Wound Management and Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Management endorsed by Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA). She has completed continuing education related to foot and nail care provided by the webWOC Continuing Education Program.
In her past work experience she has received certificates of appreciation for her outstanding support and tremendous contribution as a member of “Care of Patient team” (COP).
Currently, she is ensuring patients in her organization are receiving up to date care through her involvement in guidelines and policy updates relating to wound care.
