Dr. Yousef Al Maslamani has been a Consultant in General Surgery and kidney transplantation since 2001. Dr. Al Maslamani is a Qatari National and received his MBBS in 1988 and his fellowship in 1993 from the Royal Colleague of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. In 1994 he became a member of the Arab Board of Surgical Specialties. Dr. Al Maslamani completed his fellowship in kidney transplantation at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2001. In addition, Dr. Al Maslamani is the Head of the Kidney Transplant section, the Chairman of the Organ Transplant Committee and is also a member of the organizing committee and one of the chairpersons of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Organ Transplantation Congress. He is a member of the Joint Oversight Board University of Calgary in Qatar and a member of the International Nursing Advisory Board. He is currently serving as Medical Director and Director of QCOT at Hamad General Hospital, HMC.
