Dr. Amir Ibrahim Abdalla is a consultant geriatrician and the clinical lead of Emergency Geriatrics, Hamad Medical Corporation since 2017. He is also a core faculty member supporting the training of fellows in the ACGME-I accredited Geriatrics fellowship-training program.
Previously Dr. Abdalla has worked as a consultant in general medicine and Geriatrics in Devon, England and honorary teaching fellow at the peninsula medical school. He has completed his primary medical degree at the University of Khartoum, Sudan, which he followed by completing his basic and higher specialist training in England.
Dr. Abdalla is passionate about the development of services for older adults and people with Parkinson’s disease. He also has a deep interest inthe interaction between medicine and the law and was a warded a Diploma of Legal Medicine (DLM) from The Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine in London 2015.
Dr. Abdalla has previouslyserved as Vice President of the Parkinson’s disease(PDUK) Plymouth and District branch in the UK.
