Dr Feras Haddad joined HMC in 2014 having completed his family physician training in the UK and practised across various parts of the West Midlands and South East of England. He holds CCT and MRCGP(UK) in family medicine. 

Dr Haddad was one of the first group of doctors who joined HMC to set up the Mobile Health Service (MHS) as a new initiative in Qatar in 2014, and he took part in various projects during that time especially IT related ones. He’s always had interest in health informatics and completed a post-graduate degree in health information management from UCLAN UK. 

Following the integration of MHS with the Home Healthcare Service in December 2020, Dr Haddad was appointed as chairperson of Cerner Clinical Information system (CIS) optimization, and he successfully led the IT system migration between the two services. As an advocate of paperless systems he continues to work on optimizing existing systems in place to support a seamless electronic healthcare records (EHRs) and to enhance data management.

Soon after the integration, Dr Haddad was appointed in the summer of 2021 as a lead physician for home healthcare services under the guidance of Dr Hanadi Al-Hamad and Dr Essa Al-Sulaiti to support and oversee various aspects of running the service including ongoing professional performance and evaluation of  physicians, standardization of workflows and clinical pathways, amongst other clinical and operational roles.
