Dr. Galwankar is a graduate of the University of Pune India. He is Residency trained and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine from India and the United States of America Respectively.
He serves on the Academic Faculty for Emergency Medicine at the Prestigious University of Florida at Jacksonville. Dr. Galwankar’s career is highlighted by path breaking global initiatives in international medicine, public health and policy development. He has numerous publications, presentations, citations and awards to his credit.
Dr. Galwankar has successfully led the establishment and indexing of International Journals such as Journal of Emergencies, Trauma and Shock, Journal of Global Infectious Diseases and International Journal of Critical Illness and Injury Science.
Dr. Galwankar was the leading force behind the establishment of The World Academic Council of Emergency Medicine and The American College of Academic International Medicine and serves on their boards.
