Dr Salahddin Gehani
Dr Salahddin Gehani graduated from the Faculty of Medicine with honors degree. After his initial surgical training, he obtained the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He then pursued further general surgical training in the UK , followed by advanced training in breast surgery at the Royal Free hospital London. Dr. Gehani spent two years of research fellowship at University College London, looking at “ angiogenesis in breast cancer patients with bone metastasis” , where he performed his own benchmark studies with immunohistochemically techniques. He established a specialized Breast cancer services in Doha and introduced the sentinel node biopsy and reconstructive techniques.
