Mohsen Mokhtar Abd El Mohsen Ibrahim, MD

Cairo University Kasr El Aini Medical School, Cairo, Egypt
Professor Mohsen completed a B.Sc. in medicine and a M.Sc. in Clinical Oncology at the Cairo University Kasr El Aini Medical School, graduating in 1991 and 1996 respectively.
In 2001 he completed MD training in clinical oncology, also at the Cairo University Kasr El Aini Medical School.
Since 1996 he has held a number of posts at the Cairo University Kasr El Aini Medical School, primarily undertaking clinical research, supervising numerous research programs and developing critical teaching material.
Since 2001 he has also held the position of Professor of Clinical Oncology, where his main interest is in GU and breast cancer.
He has more than 30 publications in topics including, breast, lung, pediatric, colorectal and ovarian malignancies, NHL and hematologic malignancies.
He has collaborated in several trials, both regional and international and is a scientific co-ordinator for many regional and international conferences.
Professor Mohsen is the founder and president of ‘Cansurvive’ a patient cantered NGO founded in 2009.
He is now focusing on clinical trials in breast, gynecological and prostate cancers.
He is an active member of the Arab Medical Association Against Cancer (AMAAC), the Egyptian Cancer Society (ECS) and the Egyptian Hemato-Oncology Group (EHOG).
