Program Overview


Neuro-ophthalmology focuses on brain and systemic abnormalities that cause visual disturbances. A Neuro-ophthalmology fellowship provides the fund of knowledge and detailed clinical skills to diagnose patients with such disturbances.

The primary objective of the fellowship is to provide the fellow with exposure to and hands on training with the most significant Neuro ophthalmology problems. Fellows will be exposed to and trained in the most advanced diagnostic and surgical techniques in the management of Neuro ophthalmology problems. A special focus will be placed on the role and development of diagnostic Neuro ophthalmology technologies.

Goals and Objectives


The goal of this fellowship is to provide training that facilitates the maturation of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical skills necessary to practice comprehensive neuroophthalmology in accordance with the standards set forth by ACGME.

This includes interdisciplinary collaborations that advance the field of neuroophthalmology.

This includes being familiar with the updates in neuroscience including neurology and neurosurgery in addition to learning the medical detailed of various neurological disorders.
