Program Overview
Pediatric Radiology fellowship focuses on imaging to diagnose different disorders of the pediatric patient using the latest state-of-the-art imaging with the US, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, x-ray, and MINM.
The program duration is 2 years. The average annual intake is 1 fellow.
Full-time pediatric radiologists (faculties) who have Knowledge and expertise in the full array of pediatric radiology diseases, and they are very meticulous and enthusiastic in mentoring, educating, and supervising the pediatric radiology residents and fellows. The pediatric faculties are actively engaging in research and quality projects.
Goals and Objectives
The pediatric imaging fellowship program aims to graduate future pediatric radiologists who are well-trained, competent, and safe that covers different scopes of pediatric diseases and different imaging modalities.
Clinical Training and Key Rotations
The fellow will have to be exposed to a full spectrum of pediatric radiology modalities, and procedures covering inpatients, outpatients, and emergency.
The fellows are rotating in different pediatric radiology modalities:
- Pediatric emergency imaging.
- Pediatric inpatient imaging.
- Pediatric outpatient imaging.
- Pediatric CT scan.
- Pediatric MRI.
- Pediatric fluoroscopy.
- Neonatal imaging.
- Pediatric Ultrasound.
