The Department of Pediatrics is one of the main clinical departments that provide medical services to the pediatric population (aged 0 to 14 years) in the Northern region of Qatar. The department attends to approximately 4,000 patients per month, including pediatric emergency patients.
We work closely with other departments within Al Khor Hospital, particularly pediatric ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), pediatric orthopedic patients, the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Laboratory Medicine to ensure our patients receive the highest quality and most appropriate care available.
The department is subdivided into the following units:
- Pediatric outpatient
- Pediatric inpatient
- Emergency
- Neonatal
- Immediate care
