You will be provided with a provisional discharge date on the day of your admission. Just before you leave the hospital you will be handed a general discharge checklist within your medical record file, together with a document called a discharge summary. Your discharge checklist will vary depending on your specific circumstances. You will also receive any medication you require from the hospital.
Billing procedures
If you are non-Qatari, payment is required upon discharge and will depend on insurance coverage. Bills are prepared by the Accounting Department and will be given to you for payment. Cash is the accepted methods of payment.
Comments, suggestions or complaints
Our Nesma’ak Customer Service team is available to address all your information needs and are your main point of contact with regards to making suggestions, comments or complaints. Comment cards are also available in all departments of the hospital.
