About Us
The Child Development and Rehabilitation Medical Consultation Outpatient Clinics based in the Child Development Center (CDC) in Rumailah Hospital. The physicians clinics provide evaluation, consultation, diagnostic and assessment services for children with conditions related to the development of the nervous system, including the brain and other conditions that may affects the functional, physical, cognitive and behavioral abilities of the child. We specialize in the care of children with special needs.
Whatever the challenges, injury, illness or disability our team includes doctors who are well certified and experienced in rehabilitation medicine and neurodevelopment who will evaluate and plan treatment according to the child’s current physical, emotional, academic and social challenges.
Our Services
Outpatient Clinics are offered Sunday through Thursday, and run in the morning 8am to 12pm and the afternoon 12pm to 3pm. We also run evening clinics when required from 4pm to 8pm. Our services include:
- Child development / neurodevelopment and children’s rehabilitation initial assessment and and follow up clinics
- Comprehensive developmental assessment and physical examination and take medical and family History as requires
- Prescribe medication if needed
- Refer patient to the required allied health care services, rehabilitation therapy services, specialized child development programs and specialized services
- Consult and / refer to other pediatric subspecialties as needs

Referral to Our Clinics
Child development and rehabilitation medical consultation clinics in child development center accepts referrals from physicians in HMC, primary health care and other hospitals or private clinics in the country.
Referrals may electronic or hard copies.
What Will Happen After the Referral
- Our physicians receive and triage the referral and advice on appointment being urgent or regular
- You will receive a message to confirm the appointment
- You will receive a reminder phone call few days before the referral
