The National Center for Cancer Care and Research's outpatient services deliver patient care through our Outpatient Department, Day Care Unit and Radiation Oncology Unit. Our Outpatient Department provides timely and appropriate oncology and hematology services to the community of Qatar, with careful patient follow-up to facilitate the continuation of our care.

Our dedicated staff work within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that the 1,700 patients who we see each month, receive the highest possible levels of clinical support. We also work closely with other departments within the hospital, and other HMC facilities, through consultation and treatment modalities.

The Outpatient Department consists of nine clinics and one treatment room, where nurses provide much needed services.

The 14 bed Day Care Unit offers high quality, affordable clinical care and is equipped with the best and most advanced facilities in terms of treatment, equipment and diagnosis. The unit was awarded ‘Best Clinical Unit’ at the 2008 International Nurses Day.

The Radiation Oncology Unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and has been declared a Center of Competence by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) under its Quality Assurance in Radiation Oncology Program. This assessment means that radiation oncology care at the hospital is considered to be at the highest level with regards to international standards in safety and quality.
