Overall, the goal of the task force is to set the direction and priorities for child health research at HMC and to develop specific strategies for building child health research capacity.
The mandate of the Child Health Task Force is to formulate the vision and priorities for child health research within Hamad Medical Corporation and develop a practical long term plan for the implementation of a sustainable research program. Responsibilities comprise planning research infrastructure including the training of investigators and research support professionals and planning the annual Child Health Research Day.
