Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the 14th Pan-Arab Transfusion Medicine Conference in Doha, Qatar, a landmark event focused on advancing transfusion services across the Arab region under the theme, "Inspiring Transfusion Excellence Across Arab Nations." Qatar was awarded the hosting rights for this conference by the Arab Authority for Blood Transfusion Services (AABTS) during its 2022 annual meeting in Morocco, where Qatar was also elected to preside over AABTS from 2023 to 2025. This organization, operating under the Council of Arab Health Ministers, plays a crucial role in facilitating knowledge exchange, setting regional standards, and fostering partnerships to drive progress in transfusion medicine.
