Dillip Kumar Choudhury, MBA-IT Systems, serves as the Director of Enterprise architecture at Health Information Communication & Technology - Hamad Medical Corporation. As the lead for Enterprise Architecture, he is responsible for defining standards for Applications, Information, Data, Integration, Technology along with ensuring all business initiatives are aligned to the HMC strategy and latest national Enterprise Architecture framework and industry best practices.
He started his IT career in 1992 developing software for hospital and since then has migrated through various roles and joined HMC in the year 2011. At HMC he was responsible for implementation of several Clinical Information System initiatives i.e. 3M HIM Coding Solution, myCare billing solution, TDoc for CSSD for Sterile Supply Management, Medinfo Blood Bank solution and Cerner Millennium Clinical Information Systems for Al Khor, Al Wakra and HGH. He was leading the digitization of COVID from IT perspective and was part of several MoPH initiatives like eHealth, QHIE, Health Insurance etc. He was also responsible for the clinical IT systems for the prestigious FIFA event held in Qatar. Currently, he is a member of several senior level committees at HMC, MoPH and associated with several integration projects with MCIT (Ministry of Communication Information & Technology).
