Dr. Salma Yassin Al-Bahrani
Infectious Diseases Consultant | Assistant Professor
Dr. Salma Al-Bahrani is a Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Head of the Infectious Diseases Unit at King Fahad Military Medical Complex (Dhahran). She also chairs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee.
She holds the Saudi and Arab Boards in Internal Medicine (2011) and the Saudi Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (2015) from King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, with advanced subspecialty training in Transplant Infectious Diseases at the University of Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Al-Bahrani is a graduate of the Harvard Executive Business School’s High-Potential Leadership Program and is completing her MBA at the Swiss Business School.
Her research and clinical leadership focus on antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention, and sepsis management. She has been recognized with Level 1 Quality Forum Project Awards for Self-Administered OPAT, Early Sepsis Recognition and Management, and AI-Driven Antimicrobial Stewardship Innovation.
