Welcome Message from the Chairman 

Dear Colleagues,
After very successful three conferences in the last few years, the 4th Qatar Internal Medicine Conference 2017 will be organized again by Internal Medicine Department, Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in partnership with the American College of Physicians (ACP). The ACP will present for the first time a full day program highlighting the Best of ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2017, which includes some of the best sessions of ACP’s annual meeting delivered in an interesting and attractive format. More than 50 speakers will contribute in the conference. The aim of this conference is to provide a platform for clinicians, academicians and researchers from Qatar, Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) countries and all over the world to present their clinical contributions and research results in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. The conference will be held in Doha, Qatar during 12 to 14 October, 2017 and will be accredited by QCHP-CPD.  

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate in this distinguished event to feature the experts and contributors in the different fields of Internal Medicine from many countries in the world to meet and exchange knowledge for a three-day event that will include plenary lectures, mini-symposia, clinical debates, "doctor's dilemma", "news you can use", "diagnostic challenges", and meet the expert sessions. Additionally, 12 workshops in different topics of Internal Medicine and a postgraduate course will also be held. It will be a monumental endeavor and an accomplishment in advancing the standard of care of patients in Qatar, the Gulf and beyond. The 4th Qatar Internal Medicine Conference and the Best of ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2017 will bring you an intensive and exciting scientific program packed with the latest knowledge in a large number of topics of Internal Medicine and its sub-specialties.    

All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book. Distinguished presentations (oral and poster) will be awarded in the conference.
