Dear Colleagues,

The 5th Qatar Internal Medicine Conference is organized again this year 2018 by General Internal Medicine, Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in partnership with the American College of Physicians (ACP). The ACP will present an interesting scientific program including unique and engaging formats typically used at their annual Internal Medicine Meeting. The conference is held in the beautiful city of Doha in State of Qatar at National Convention Center from 11 to 13 October, 2018. The aim of this conference is to provide a platform for clinicians, academicians and researchers from Qatar and all over the world to present their clinical contributions and research results in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties. The three-day conference will be filled with new information-packed sessions delivered by an outstanding assembly of speakers who are expert in their fields. 

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate in this distinguished event to feature the experts and contributors in the different fields of Internal Medicine from many countries in the world to meet and exchange knowledge for a three-day event that will include plenary lectures, mini-symposia, doctor's dilemma and more. Additionally, 16 workshops in different topics of Internal Medicine and its sub-specialties including hands on Point-of-Care Ultrasound and a postgraduate course will also be held. It will be a monumental endeavor and an accomplishment in advancing the standard of care of patients in Qatar and beyond. The Conference will bring you an intensive and exciting scientific program packed with the latest knowledge in a large number of topics of Internal Medicine and its sub-specialties. All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book. Distinguished presentations (oral and poster) will be awarded in the conference.
