The organizing committee of the 5th General Internal Medicine Conference is delighted to invite you to participate and submit papers for presentation. Submissions should be related to original research or quality improvement projects contributing to the understanding, development or evaluation of internal medicine and its subspecialties. Interesting case reports are also encouraged. You can also submit outstanding work in the field of medical education and health care service development.
- An author from each abstract has to be registered in the conference and is expected to attend the congress and present the poster or oral presentation.
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.
- Only abstracts submitted via the online submission form will be accepted.
- All accepted abstract will be published in the conference abstract book.
- Distinguished presentations (oral and poster) will be awarded in the conference.
- Abstract should not exceed the 300 word limit.
- All abstract (except case reports) should be structured as following:
- Background and aims
- Materials and methods
- Results
- Conclusion
Evaluation Criteria for abstract submissions
- The Abstract Review Committee will review all abstracts using the following criteria:
- The content of the abstract provides new insight and/or knowledge in the area of internal medicine and its subspecialties research.
- The abstract is clear and well organized
- The proposed presentation is innovative and/or original
- The proposed presentation will be of interest to conference delegates
