Following the remarkable success of the annual breast cancer conference in the previous years, it is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the annual breast cancer conference 2022, being held hybrid platform ( virtual and face to face ) for two days.
This year's conference theme is "Precision Medicine in breast cancer management "the conference program will focus on Precision medicine as a strategy for disease treatment and prevention that considers individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle.
PM aims optimized tumor response to treatment combined with the preservation of organ function and, thus, improve quality of life.
The concept of an individualized approach is not new in the field of breast cancer; however, recent advances in genomic medicine allowed more personalized approaches.
Experts classify breast cancer into different subtypes based on molecular analyses. This subtyping has been accepted in daily clinical practice. The treatment of breast cancer by endocrine therapy, chemotherapy, anti-HER2and immune- therapy is recommended based on this subtype.
Therefore, this year's breast cancer conference updates our knowledge and clinical practice in "Precision Medicine for Breast Cancer Management." and brings together clinicians, nurses, laboratory experts, and researchers across the institution to better understand the Precision Medicine of breast cancer management.
