The Department of Anesthesiology, ICU and Perioperative Medicine at HMC and the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Heart Hospital would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the Ether Day Conference 2015 to be held on 15 and 16 October, 2015.

We are commemorating the 169th anniversary of the first successful public demonstration of ether anesthesia by William T. G. Morton in the operating room of Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston on 16 October, 1846. The event will bring together luminaries in the field of anesthesia and intensive care from different parts of the world. The resulting confluence of ideas, knowledge and expertise will serve as a guiding light for HMC’s quest for excellence. There will be a series of talks and discussions on the wide ranging facets of anesthesia and its allied sub specialties. We are sure the Ether Day Conference 2015 will go a long way to reinforcing HMC’s vision and commitment to academic medicine.
