Samah F A Mohamad

 

Dr. Samah Mohamed was awarded her medical degree (MBBCh), Radiology Masters and Radiology MD from Cairo University. Following her training and residency in the National Cancer Institute (Cairo University), Dr. Samah obtained her FRCR in 2011 from the UK, followed by further subspecialized radiological training in Cardiac imaging.  She is currently one of the Consultant radiologists in the Heart Hospital cardiac imaging department along maintaining her position as Lecturer of Radiology in Cairo University. Dr. Samah is a member of the SCMR, ESCVI and ESC. She has published several articles that appear in most relevant international peer-reviewed journals with a special interest in Cardiac MRI and its new advances in myocardial tissue characterization and cardiac masses.  Her current research is focused on optimizing and standardizing cardiac MRI myocardial parametric mapping indices in Qatar as part of developing a national cardiac MRI reference registry
