He has authored or co-authored over 30 published peer-reviewed articles as well numerous book contributions, presentations and abstracts, and hosts a weekly one-hour TV show Medicine and Life on Qatar TV.
Ibrahim has held several positions at HMC since returning from the US in 2000, having completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Peoria / Children’s Hospital of Illinois, and a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children’s Hospital. He is currently Senior Consultant, Division Chief, Pediatric Pulmonary Division at HMC.
