Dr. Rahil Kassamali is Consultant Interventional Radiologist with a specific interest in vascular disease and interventional oncology.
He studied medicine at the University of Birmingham, UK; he completed his internship and radiology training in West Midlands, UK. He completed his Fellowship at the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) during his training years after completing a highly competitive interventional radiology fellowship at Alfred Health, Melbourne, Australia.
Rahil has a strong academic interest. He is a Senior Lecturer at Aston Medical School, UK. In addition, he has more than 25 peer review publications and is regularly invited to speak at academic congresses.
Rahil worked as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in Birmingham, UK, before moving to Doha to work at Hamad Medical Corporation. He is currently the research lead for interventional radiology and is the scientific chair for this Interventional Oncology Symposium.
