Ms. Justine Veronica Plaaties
Justine has been working in Community Health Settings for more than 20 years. She has a 4-year Nursing Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. She was a part of a small team of clinicians in South Africa who started a Home Based Care.
In 2005, she joined Hamad Medical Corporation as Case Manager in Home Healthcare Services (HHCS) handling in-patient cases in Hamad General Hospital. This role gave her insights into the challenges of discharge planning. Also, in her capacity as case manager, she was among the pioneers in HHCS who set-up a system and supported the department through four JCI Accreditations.
In March 2016, she transferred to Private Nursing Services (PNS) to continue learning more about Community Healthcare and to continue helping patients. She is currently the Clinical Champion for Person Centered-Care for PNS.
