Following studying medicine at the University of Gazi, Ankara, Turkey, Dr. Saracoglu specialized in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Istanbul Marmara University School of Medicine in 2008. Following an observership at Jena University, Germany, she became an Assistant Professor at the Medical School of Istanbul, Bilim University in 2012. In 2015, she was promoted to Associate Professor at the same university, then she became a Professor at the Medical School of Marmara University in 2021. 

She is specialized in neuro-anesthesia, cardio-thoracic anesthesia, heart and liver transplantation. She has experience in fetal surgery for spina bifida. 

She lectures and teaches courses about airway management, trauma, bleeding management and resuscitation at international conferences, several centers both in Europe and Asia.
