Dr. Mohamed Maged Mekhaimar
Dr. Mekhaimar is a Sr. Consultant in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Hamad Medial Corporation, with over 30 years of experience.

He specializes in foot and ankle surgeries and is also leading the Foot and Ankle Fellowship Program in the Department..

Dr Mohamed Maged got his training in foot and ankle specialty in St Michael Hospital,Toronto, Canada From and he recieved his certificate of completion of higher surgical training in Orthopaedic Surgery from UK. He has several publications in foot and ankle and other orthopedic specialties.
 
 

Dr. Muhamed Hasan Al Fahel
Dr. Al Fahel is a Consultant in the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Hamad Medical Corporation with over 35 years of experience. His areas of expertise and clinical interests are foot and ankle disorders.

Dr AlFahel had his orthopedic surgery training in University of Nancy, France followed by Podology Diploma from the same University. He had also Arthroscopy Diploma from College of Medicine Bichat, Paris, France and Sports Injuries Diploma from College of Medicine Bichat, Paris, France. He has several publications in foot and ankle and other orthopedic specialties.

 
 

Dr. Pieter D'Hooghe
Dr Pieter d’Hooghe specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee and the ankle/foot. He completed his training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University Hospital Leuven, Belgium in Europe. He was a Fellow at the Amsterdam University Hospital where he specialized further in minimal invasive Sports Traumatology of the lower extremity. He has previously worked in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery of Stedelijk Hospital in Roeselare, Belgium as Director of the FIFA F-MARC Flemish Surgical Center of Excellence. As an active FIFA F-MARC Board Member and Instructor, he is also involved in Injury Prevention with worldwide lecturing and assisting in PCMA Projects, with the main focus on the orthopedic health assessment of football players.
 
 

Mr. Rod Whiteley
Rod Whiteley is a specialist sports physiotherapist with over 25 years’ clinical experience. Initially working in Rugby League, Rugby Union and Baseball, his PhD examined throwing-related injuries to the shoulder, where he first began considering load volumes as important performance and injury factors. In the last five years he has worked at Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital where he has continued to look at the examination of a player’s match and training load, and especially the response to these imposed loads, as critical features for both rehabilitation and performance enhancement.​
 
 

Mr. Athol Thomson
Athol Thomson is a podiatrist and sports injury prevention researcher from Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital in Doha, Qatar.

He works in multi-discipline clinics along-side Orthopedic specialists and physiotherapists to help with the rehabilitation of athletes from a wide range of sports.

Current research interests include the effects that different shoe and surface interactions have on foot, ankle and knee injuries in football and handball.​
