Dr. Hani is Executive Director for HMC Corporate Clinical Policy and Guidelines, Medical Staff Office. He is also a Senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine since 2019.
He is the former Medical Director of Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Al Khor Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Al Khor City, Qatar. Previously, he has been the Chief of Emergency Medicine Department in Al Khor Hospital; Senior Consultant Emergency Medicine; Program Director of Arab Board Residency Training Program in Emergency Medicine at Hamad General Hospital and a member of HMC Executive Committee.
Dr. Hani finished both his Postgraduate Pre-Fellowship Rotation Training in Surgery and Fellowship (FRCSI) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. For his other educational attainments, he finished the following: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) - Faculty of Medicine Mansoura University, Egypt (MBBCH)
He is an instructor Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) 2001 and Instructor and course director for Basic and advance International Trauma Life Support (ITLS); Instructor Advanced and Immediate Life Support (ALS) & (ILS) - European Resuscitation Council (ERC).
