Objectives:
  1. Explain and describe the anatomy and pathophysiology of traumatic hemorrhage [TH] and coagulopathy of trauma [CoT].
  2. Present current concepts and updates in hemostatic resuscitation.
  3. Discuss criteria that can be used to predict hemorrhagic shock, the need for massive transfusion or hemostatic resuscitation [scores, mechanisms, labs].
  4. Demonstrate hemostatic interventions – drugs, devices and blood products
  5. Present options for monitoring and evaluating  hemostatic resuscitation – TEG, ROTEM or INR
  6. Share valuable lessons for setting up an MTP 
  7. Provide clinical scenarios for participants to apply their newfound skills and information
