Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad is working as consultant pulmonologist at Hamad General hospital. He received his medical degree from Ayub medical college, Pakistan. He did his Internal medicine residency at HMC attaining the certificate of Arab board of Internal medicine (CABM). After his residency he completed a 3 year pulmonary fellowship program. He was awarded MRCP(UK) in 2014 and has been elected a fellow of the Royal college of physician and surgeon of Glasgow (UK). He has also passed the European Diploma in Adult Respiratory medicine (HERMES) and specialty certificate in respiratory medicine from UK in 2017.
Dr. Ahmad holds an academic position as an Assistant professor in clinical medicine at Weill Cornell medical college-Qatar. He is actively involved in teaching pulmonary fellows, Internal medicine residents and medical students. He is one of the main organizers and lead of internal medicine clinical exam courses at HMC. He has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, abstracts and is also an author of a book on clinical examinations for postgraduate exams in medicine.
