Dr. Vaughan is Executive Director of Quality and Safety for the Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar. Previously the Director for Quality and Leadership at the Royal College of Physicians Ireland Dr. Vaughan was responsible for developing and delivering the Diploma in Quality Improvement and Leadership in Healthcare. Dr. Vaughan is a consultant Respiratory Paediatrician who has held posts in Ireland and the USA. Clinical interests include cystic fibrosis, sleep disordered breathing and poorly controlled asthma. Dr. Vaughan has published over 25 peer reviewed papers, reviews and textbook chapters
