Joey Daniel is a Health Management and Policy professional with over 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Currently working at PHCC in Qatar under the Quality and Patient Safety Directorate where he has established and managed the policy management department over the past 10 years and has also managed the Quality Improvement department for 2 years. Before moving to Qatar Joey had a rich array of experiences in Lebanon with National Disease registration (cancer and cardiovascular), Quality management, risk management and patient safety, as well as health promotion and community development and research. Joey holds a Master of Public Health Degree concentrating in Health Management and Policy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion. He is a certified Policy Management Professional (OCEG), a certified professional in People-Centered Care principles (ISQua) a certified professional in Principles of external surveying (ISQua), a certified Quality Trainer and Facilitator (FICS.ca), a Certified KPI Professional (the KPI institute), and Certified Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSC Institute). Joey is passionate about Quality improvement and inspires to constantly contribute to enhancing quality improvement practices within and beyond his scope of work.
